     The Britelyt Petromax Pressure Lantern is the 5th generation of Petromax

This is the O-ring (show on top installed on the stem assembly.  The O-ring replaces the leather washer.  It will fit all the
Petromax  generations such as Hipolito, Aida, and Geniol models.  The O-ring allows each stroke to be strong so that
you can pump your lantern up quicker than with your leather washer.All new Britelyt Petromax lanterns are equipped with
these O-rings.
